I did my graduate thesis on Hayek's capital theory.

Garrison is mostly correct about one thing...

Garrison is right about a lot more than the lack of respect Hayek has received. Although, it must be said, Hayek received his Nobel for his contributions to business cycle theory - that shows some measure of respect no doubt.
