You still won't address the fact that John Kerry hasn't declared he is a candidate for the 08 election. You seem to base your statement that Gore isn't running on people confiding in you as to his intentions. That is very presumptuous of you to think that if Gore is planning a run they would confide in you. Of course they wouldn't. Gore is one of the favorites right now. He's the pick of many times the number of people who are picking Kerry. You won't face this and that doesn't help your credibility one bit. Gore is running just as much as Kerry is. That's a fact. If Gore wasn't running he would say emphatically that he isn't. He won't rule it out when he is asked about it. This gives me the impression he wants it.

You can twist it any way you like but the fact is neither of them have declared they are a candidate and for good reason. Any top candidate (can we call Kerry a top candidate?) who announces this early is immediately the target of the rightwing hate groups.

If a nationwide primary were held tomorrow and the top ten democrats who people back were listed on the ballot I would expect Kerry to come in fourth at best, behind Hillary, Gore and Feingold and there's a good chance Edwards would beat him and possibly Warner too. Anyone who listens to you would get the impression that Kerry is the front runner and it simply not true. He is facing a very steep uphill battle. I am surprised he isn't more popular than he is right now but when he gave up and went skiing after they stole Ohio from him hurt him badly.
