Tony RE: IBM, INTC, Football results. Just got back online. Shorting stocks never interested whatsover. IBM gets copper boost. A relative bought it at 90 in early 90's, watched it go to 40 in '93, held on, now post-split very happy, long term investor mentality. Like many of us with INTC, which I really believe is the Rodney Dangerfield of the NASDAQ. Congrats to you and family at both the college and pro level. What everyone always talks about around here is Penn State drops in polls because Paterno has never poured it on after the game is clearly won. I'm not sure I ever will agree that they made the right choice to go to the Big Ten. When I went to PSU, they had just named some young assistant to Rip Engle the new head coach, Paterno, the kid Rip brought with him from Brown years before.. I was there when they had 2 back-to-back undefeated seasons (68,69?), never ranked #1, tho they had Mike Reid, Dennis Onkotz, John Ebersole, and a good sophomore linebacker named Jack Ham all playing the same defense. Tricky Dick named Texas #1, something many of us will always agree was his most flagrant impeachable offense.gg Re: Foliage--Hasn't started yet. Actually, due to drought, some leaves have gone brown in Pa. Hopefully, we'll still have some beautiful days ahead. We live in a wooded area off the Delaware. Real nice views in the Fall. NH is beautiful, pretty good hockey teams. California ain't bad either. OT- younger son submitted resume at Eng.College, recruiting time has begun at Penn, companies-tech, financials, you name it-are starting to swarm. Would you mind reviewing his resume if we E-mailed, get a pro's opinion? Thks in advance.
