I don't think anyone would argue against that. It is just that we have been running a deficit that amounts to $1 billion a day. If that was paid directly to 10 million chronically unemployed to the tune of $100 a day, we would have an economy that would be booming according to any economic theory. Yet, we don't. Why is that?
