Huang Ming owns China Himin Solar Energy Group, which is reportedly the largest Chinese market with a share of 14 percent. Ming's product claims to be effective and relatively cheap. The low-tech devise is secured to the roof of a home and can conduct solar energy even through cloudy and smoggy skies. Basic models cost about 1,500 yuan or $190 but up to 18,000 yuan or $2,250 for a larger home. Dezhou is hoping to gain international recognition for their energy saving efforts.
