Cell phone detection fraud has been a problem for a long time. Just look at Jim McDermott, the slim ball Democrat Congressperson, who gave a tape of Newt's cell phone conversation to the liberally biased media.

Wireless traffic can be encrypted. Using public WAN networks that are not encrypted at all to conduct any financial transaction is a bad choice.
