Lets not bring sex into this, especially when we are referring the brits and their royalty. I assume the iranians fought hard. I am not expecting occupation in the scenario you painted---just a failed regime being replace by a more democratic, less islamic one which will rail at the US but eventually reestablish relations. Who in the world are more fierce fighters than the serbs and look what happened there with no occupation of serbia proper.
