Watching CNN just now, it's becoming very clear why we had the recent "terrorist" issue. The US now is making noises about increasing border security, something Bush has wanted all along.

Get ready for your new ID card.

You don't have to get an ID card, or a Passport, or anything else as long as you don't want to go to the US. I handed in a passport when last I went to England, and last I heard I was entitled to live there. So the US wants tighter security to enter their country, and Canada wants to let almost anyone in, if Canadians had reacted when Chretien was PM, we would already have this solved. He stated, Canada has enough security, so why complain. The sky isn't falling, and maybe Canadians will see more of canada or Europe, but then they will have a passport and they can go to the US.... Don't most adults who can afford to travel have a passport? Mine needs to be renewed again, but I will be getting my third or 4th one. The US was willing to look at drivers licenses until they found out that Ontario licenses were being sold by organized crime and bikers who got them from clerks.....
