No. Lucent just spent a ton of money on Octel. And they already had their own messaging product line. It would have made sense for them to buy CGRM instead of Octel, but not now.

Octel does not have a solid SP product, hence Lucent will use CGRM for now. I expect that they will fill this hole in their product line quickly.
