LOL! A couple million might be a bit of an understatement, but much closer to the truth. Conroe's performance would have been no secret to OEMs who would have received samples regardless of whether benchmarks were made public. At least a couple leaked samples would have shown up at XtremeSystems or elsewhere for viewing by the general public. And of course the more profit Intel loses now due to delayed computer purchases, the more they will gain after the Conroe launch.
