Nope. Conroe prices are in the same range as Pentium D.

Yeah, and that is why AMD's ASPs remain in the $60 range, instead of that fake ~$100 number being reported. After all, ASPs NEVER go up no matter how good your products are or what the competitive situation is. I'm off to buy my $85 Athlon 64 3500+ at newegg.com...just like the good ole days when the Athlon XP 2500+ was selling for the same price.
