I agree with you there.

There is absolutely no way to pick a top, and shorting is inherently dangerous. I've seen companies that were effectively bankrupt suddenly have their share prices double or triple without warning.

I have followed this story before Asensio issued his report. The fact that he picked Avant out of a universe of overpriced stocks simply gives me a great deal more confidence, and I would be willing to invest more margin should the price move against me in the short term.

Asensio is not a magician by any means, and he can not pick a top either. As I mentioned previously, I'm looking at the long term. I believe that Avant's legal difficulties and the ethical problems raised by the criminal indictments are so potentially disastrous, that I can't see any reason whatsoever to buy the stock.
