Reagan created huge deficits dwarfed only by GW Bush's.

We should all agree Clinton had it right,. Pay as you go and pay down the debt as you go. Keep things honest. Just like you would with your family finances. Or if you ran a company. You have to take in what you spend, or more. Deficit spending can only be short-term for emergencies, not a permanent drain the way Bush has arranged it.

Also consider Bush's energy pals are draining hundreds of billions of extra profits out of us on all levels. That is one of the biggest reasons the markets are going down now. Bushie oil companies figure they've gotten away with it, so why stop gouging. With people like Sean Hannity defending them on the radio, and Bush saying "there's no silver bullet", they are sitting pretty. Their dream come true. Health care is also a big area for gouging.
