Pimp this war as hard as you can and it still has the same foul smell about it. Vietnam was a pointless tragedy for the US -- we lost half a million fine young Americans, killed millions of Vietnamese and lost the war. In Iraq it is the same pathetic story with the added tragedy of betraying the core values Americans hold dear -- values of respect for human life, human decency and respect for the law. The US invasion of Iraq is a national disgrace and a military blunder.
