As to deliberate removal of liquidity, yes, that is what THEY are doing;

But the unwinding is unlikely to be gentle, and will affect the real economy, which is actually not strong. The interesting point is between the nominal and the reality, and the interplay will be fascinating.

Meanwhile, 5% nominal yield is looking good, a sad state of affairs, but a real state.
