If you see someone shot, Military or not, how do you know if they are dead or not? Do you just leave them there, dead or alive? Could you live with yourself if they were still alive, and had someone come to the rescue, they could have lived?

It's hard to know what we would really do under fire...but if we see someone that is wounded, and we don't help them if we can, are we any better than the person who actually did the wounding of the individual?
