Neeka...the best freedom the Iraqis have gotten is the freedom to leave Iraq, which about 2 million (at least) have availed themselves of.

While under UN sanctions they had more electricity and cheaper gas and the ability to actually go outside without thinking they were going to killed. Also Sunnis could live in Shiite neighborhoods without worrying that Shiites would be dragging them out during the night and killing them. The same for Shiites living in Sunni neighborhoods.

Iraq was a better place for Iraqis before we invaded than it is now.

I'm not saying it was great for Iraqis before and I'm not saying it was in any way the intention of the people that decided to invade to make life there anything but better.
