re: Pentium D can hammer Athlon 64 on price on the low end AMD proved in the past that been competitive al low end does not make you a winner. re: Core 2 Duo punishes Athlon 64 on the high end not until next year though. There is not enough of those to make a real difference this year re: Tough times for AMD that is probably true. Does Intel makes it tougher for itself than for AMD? just my 2c -AK
