There's an awful lot of anger right now. My boring days are coming to an end; I'm gonna be working too much to get bored, starting tonight. I need to be careful what I wish for. I need to tell my boss she had better get another traveler in Sept, cuz I'll have enuf hours to get vested in my 401K, and I need more free time, and the other hospital wants me a weekend a month to keep their staff from burning out. I'm gonna make too much money. I just upped my retirement withholding to 40%. I'm desperately trying to keep my work earnings under 28K; if I do that, no taxes next year. Let them fight that war with somebody else's $. What's with the conventional wisdom of needing 70% of your income when you retire? I can save $ and live on 60% of my income now.
