The terms left and right are having less and less meaning every day. What we need is smart government that is accountable. We need public financing of campaigns. Let's get the corporations out of politics. Then we need fair, free and verifiable elections.

If we can achieve these three things then democracy will be in good hands when we pass this nation to the next generation.
