Rice is a disgrace because she ignored terrorism as a threat
when she was security advisor. Never even mentioned the word. Richard Clarke said she'd never even heard of AL Qaida.
Rice is simply a yes woman. Whatever Bush wants, Rice says yes and parrots it, including the most outlandish of lies running up to the war. I saw Rice tell the Europeans that Saddam's longrange WMD missiles could hit Euro capitols within hours. On trouble was, Saddam had no LR missiles, nor WMD and by then Rice knew it, from what we hear from the ex CIA experts.
Similarly, when Bush ignored the 8-6-01 warning about AL Qaida attacks, so did Rice. Just a mimic and a puppet. She had no business being national security advisor in the first place. She had almost zero qualifications. She was an academic Russia expert, and in case no one told Bush, the Cold War was over. A Russian expert was not necessary.
Very simply, 9-11 happened because Bush and Rice were asleep at the switch. The plain factthe rightrwing has gone to great lengths to try and disguise and cover up, even fabricating stories about CLintoin turning down Osama Bin Laden from the Sudan, a totally phony story.
