10:58 (Dow Jones) Advanced Micro (AMD) is seeing "weaker-than-expected"
demand and average selling prices, says ThinkEquity analyst Eric Ross. He's
attending Computex trade show in Taiwan and had hoped to find some positive
data points that would enable him to start recommending the stock, but instead
found the opposite. "We expect the stock price to continue to decline," Ross
says, noting that May seems to have been a weak month for AMD and June is
tracking below as well. "This could be a long, hard summer for the PC supply
chain," he adds, and backs his sell rating on AMD. Shares up 0.4% $29.07.
