Eracer- "On a clock-for-clock basis Opteron scores close to Woodcrest in those benchmarks." OK, upon re-reading, the conclusion starts to make some sense.

I certainly wouldn't give Anandtech credit for writing a clear review, it actually kind of sucks. It sure would have been nice if the Woodcrest was compared with a newer Opteron server, instead of the 2.2/2.4 models. Also, Anandtech should stop putting those stupid model numbers in the results and simply give us the Ghz, so we can more easily interpret the results. My 2c.
