Creates the illusion of value - small company, small shareprice.
It's not just biotechs - most UK new issues don't get above a couple of pounds per share.

re - Neutec, thanks. (Should have backed my hunch and had a lot more, though...)

(edit) I also have a hunch that Novartis are getting a bargain. Mycograb could be a billion plus drug if it works in cancer.

Aurograb is also PIII and unpartnered.
