Ho Chi Minh, love him or hate him, was authentically vietnamese as well as communist. Hmmm... can you tell which of the 54 "authentic" Vietnamese ethnicities he belonged to?? en.wikipedia.org And what right did he have, in the first place, to launch a civil war of aggression against S. Vietnam?? If his ideology was so appealing, then all he had to do was win people over with his winning smile and proven record of economic accomplishments in free elections. Same could be said for the South, btw... But I can only compare the histories of S. Korea and think of who S. Vietnam might have turned out had we fought the war in a manner that defeated the enemy's strategies. Hawk
