Thought this was worth bringing up over here:

TDAmeritrade has decided to not allow customers to buy PLNI, though they can sell, as it turns out they have a list of stocks that they will not allow customers to trade freely.

FWIW - Ameritrade Accounts..

i tried to place an order for SHLP earlier this am.
~ again i got a note from a/trade not allowing me to purchase this stock on line..

this is one of several i've tried to buy this week and was NOT allowed to purchase via on line order

in calling a/trade again today i found out they have a list of approx 45 stocks they will not allow you to trade on line..

i sugguested to them they share this list with their account holders.. of course they didn't take me up on that suggestion and would not email or fax the list to me.

seems there are several stocks that have been tagged for one reason or another by them or the sec and you can't buy the stocks unless you call in the order..

Below are a few that are on the list.
