You are another one who can't read context. On RSA/SSL Opteron kills Woodcrest. Its 36% faster at same clock. For those tests where the 585DL is used, 4S 2.4GHz Opterons were twice as fast as 2S 3GHz Woodcrests. And Anandtech didn't try with 4S 3GHz Opteron 856s which are a clock speed match to the Woodcrest box with the first being sold for a long time and the second just vaporware right now. With some vendors saying it won't be here until November.
