Joe. The shares of the new combined company will not be "issued" at a given price (actually they will have a par value but forget that). On day one of the merger, MMs will establish a price for Combined Company be it 28, 32, 14 or whatever. From that moment on trading proceeds as with any other stock, and the price of Combined Company stock could end up anything. Your question is a really good one though. It certainly is possible LUNN share prices could reach a level at which one could immediately lose money upon merger as opposed to breaking even or gaining. It is anybody's guess what that price is as it depends upon what the Market will think of the Combined Company. Is it 2? 2 1/2? 3? 4? More? Hopefully some here with the talent for it can give you a reasonably good guess.

See where you are coming from,
OH
