lp (formerly UB?), i think the "page 16" story that has been totally overlooked is that SAUDI ARABIA HAS PEAKED. that's just what Simmons predicted (feared). of course, the Saudis are spinning this as "there's not enough demand" (despite the reality of record demand)--i.e., typical War-is-Peace doublespeak. this is the equivalent of the Texas Railroad Commission's elimination of quotas for the Lower 48, which Deffeyes (in his first book) recalls reading in a page 16 story back in 1970/71. Message 22513286 CL is set to go apeshiat. only a worldwide depression can stop it at this point, imo.
