H-33.... re: CASH & Speculative Tops............ I have no idea what you are doing. Although I wasn't directing the "got cash" comment to you...I do seem to remember something about -- "not all 100 point HUI Index corrections being equal"? I was directing my comments to the "crowd" that always shows up with their little powder-puff boxing gloves on...then suddenly disappear. Simply amazing how Weiss Research, the Agora publications, Louis Navallier, Tobin Smith, James Cramer et all... loaded the masses and pounded the table directly into the trap door opening up...ie: -- The Case for $2158 Gold! -- The Chinese ETF! -- Better than Gold! (SILVER...after it already had doubled) -- Sinclair's $1682 Gold Magnet & call for the eminent USD collapse ...yada, yada, yada Gold did what it needed to do -- it sounded the "canary in the coal mine" alarm -- on inflation, deficits and rampant speculation. The markets listened... Both inflation and speculation had broken out of control. CONTROL is now being re-introduced into the market. The FED may be dumb...but, they aren't deaf. They heard what Gold had to say (admittedly late)... and have finally acted accordingly. Liquidity is being moped up -- as they finally listened to Gold's message to the markets. Sadly, the 'bugs didn't....they got emotionally married to their positions...and their eternal dream that -- "they and only they will inherit the earth" ...that they and only they -- were going to right the world...to punish the Fed, the US Dollar and the rest of the world for being soooo wrong -- when they were soooo right. You can't ever fall in love with either -- "the story"... "the hook"... or your positions. Gold 'bugs just committed all three sins...and now they are paying for those sins. tic toc` SOTB
