Yes, the debt bomb is a serious problem, but it is a long term thing. No one is going to allow the world to go topsy turvy in fundamental way in our lifetime because of debt.

Cell phone and computers will go forward, pushed along by their efficiencies and the debt free corporations that make them. These US high tech cash machines will be wonders to behold in a decade or so.

My story and I'm sticking to it.
