"Baghdad bombs kill at least 14

BAGHDAD, June 8 (UPI) -- Two roadside bombs rocked Baghdad Thursday shortly after the death of terror leader Abu Musab al-Zarqawi was announced, killing at least 14 people.

Two civilians were killed and eight police officers injured when the first roadside bomb exploded in southeastern Baghdad, about a half-hour after U.S. government officials announced Zarqawi had been killed in a coalition airstrike, CNN reported.

The second bomb about a half-hour later killed 12 people and injured 28 others in a crowded market, police said."
