We have moved forward from that old rule. In the case of Janet Jackson's boob, I don't think that a fine is appropriate. Sure it's the superbowl, and it's live TV. But having your clothes fall off in an unintended manner shouldn't be fined.

I think it was intentional, but for the split part of a second it was on, they over reacted.

I never got what the Catholic Church was doing with the DaVinci Code either. The movie was a work of fiction. The book was a work of fiction. Calling for a boycott was stupid. I expect the "boycott" resulted in more people going to see the film. If the Church felt obligated to say something tell the church goers. It's a work of fiction. Hope you enjoy the film if you go see it. If you have any questions about the accuracy of the content call the priest. Done.
