It is obvious to everyone that the only purpose of them speaking out was to smear Kerry. Thus the label smearvets is appropriate. It is also demonstrable that they lied. So that label is appropriate.

Just because they are vets doesn't absolve them of ever being challenged if they lie or smear someone's character. That surely isn't the righty factual standard so why would you expect a different standard for the left?
