Doug, high-end X2s are not high-volume parts. High end anything is not a high volume part. You just follow the distribution, and the majority of the parts will be n the center. The center is currently at roughly 2.4 GHz, with low end at 2.0 GHz, and high end at 2.8 GHz (+/- 15%). That represents 3800 to FX62. FX62 does not need to be a high volume part because of the price. The price will not allow it. At the center of the distribution, 2.4 GHz, there are a plenty of parts, so many that AMD is downbinning them. These parts (at the center of distribution) are 4600 and 4800. If AMD can move the center of distribution to 2.6 GHz by Q2, it would mean that FX64 (3.0 GHz) would be the top bin and there would be plenty of 2.6 GHz parts (5000 and 5200). As far as the sweet spot moving from 2.4 GHz to 2.6 GHz, I don't think it is out of the realm of posibilities for Rev E to Rev F to do that much. Joe
