I think the farm thing is silly, it doesn't matter if you own a farm or a business or t-bills or cisco stock. The law should be the same regardless of what property you happen to own.

My dad was once at a "getting to know you" seminar that Che put on for local business leaders. Che kicks things off by reaching over and pulling a pen out of a guy's shirt pocket. Asks the guy "Whose pen is this?" Guy responds "It's my pen" Followed by an hour long harangue from Che on how it was not his pen, but the peoples' pen.

First it's a farm or a business then your investments then your cash and eventually it comes down to a freaking pen.
