Gib, good link. I could not remember, off of the top of my head, and obviously last nights prodigious (as in enormous, not amazing-lol)posts should clearly show it was late and I was imbibing a bit-lol, exactly what it was he had disproved. You are right he did not disprove an equation, he disproved all of them-lol. In a sense-lol. But Godel's proof showed mathematics or deductive logic have limits and the mathematicians were po'd that he did it by logic and not by math. I do remember that pretty clearly. Mathematicians did not know what godel had proved heretofore-lol. Hard science guys look down at soft sciences. Scientific American a while back said trying to understand time has puzzled the hard scientists so much some are turning to the philosophers for help.
