There's a 30-year-old guy on my softball team. He's trying to become a Marine. He sprained his ankle and should have sat out for at least three weeks, perhaps four or five. But there he was, bull determined, playing third base a week later.

When I was young I sprained my wrist and had a light cast on it. That didn't stop me from playing shortstop, as I merely switched to a lefthanded glove, caught the ball and flipped both the ball and glove into the air and threw to first. I still played.

Now, how old was Kerry when he was in the military? What's your complaint?
