marcos: If you plain to write/buy options. realize that 90% of every website, and this includes the CBOE site, is wrong when it comes to explainations. I was at a seminar put out by the CBOE, and they only recommend covered call writting, and not put writing. But if your prepared to buy the stock for a covered call, than you might as well be prepared to buy the stock in the put situation. Your quote:"Don't keep all your whiskey in one bottle, though...... cheers .... marcos" Actually I don't, 90% of my value is in cash looking for market direction.... and waiting, waiting....
