Evenin' Christine! I thought Diana's ring looked tacky. I thought maybe that was because it was a magazine picture. You are right Diana had exquisite taste so my guess is that the ring sparkled when she wore it. She may have avoided colored stones because she had so many, and in the past, colored stones were often associated with royalty. I saw a few of Diana's dresses that were sold at auction. When the dresses were draped over mannequins, I realized that what made the clothes was Diana. I heard about an engraved poem. I didn't know he was going to give it to her that night. And yes, she was looking forward to seeing her kids the next day. A man has rich as Fayed would have to be ruthless. Otherwise, he would never keep his money.
