To all: I know that most folks in this thread are very excited about the prospects of this company. I have invested in some shares already and am considering buying some more. Unlike most of the people posting on this thread, I work for a school system and have a tight budget leaving me little to invest. Before investing some more in ADVR I would really appreciate some honest assessments of the facts and REALISTIC prospects of ADVR. I know we are all excited and hopeful, but many of the postings are pie-in-the-sky $100 per share dreams.
What I have been able to determine from the many postings and a conversation wih ADVR's IR is that we are dealing with a company which potentially has a promising drug which will need years of further testing to know its real impact. We also know that there will be an article published this month (which the contents were discussed at a conference in May and an abstract has been available on-line, making one conclude that most in the industry are pretty well aware of the contents) and informal, unpublished findings from a small study (which may or may not have been conducted in a scientifically idealistic manner) done in Argentina. Plus, we know ADVR is looking at distribution and final production in Argentinia sometime before the end of the calendar year.
They are upfront with the fact that they have yet to begin the FDA process which takes many years. So, income from the US is years away (I am no way, however, discounting the potential overseas revenues, which could be tremendous).
There may also be the issuing of additional shares which could dilute the value of the existing shares.
Would any, and all, PLEASE let me know if I have the near term "facts" correct and also elaborate and fill in mIssing details. Plus, please provide ("non-cheerleading") upcoming events and reasons that this may be the "real thing" and HONEST REALISTIC assessments of the near term and long term value of this stock. This would tremendously help me, and possibly others, determine if I should invest more of my very limited resources into this compnay.
In advance, thank you for taking the time to read this and I look forward to your responses.
