That remark was unsolicited. They do seem to agree that there is a short position out there, but don't know if it has already been covered. There may be no way to tell for sure.

But the request for certificates does not appear to be as large as Riley reports.

My guess is that if there was a large short position out there, it's not as large now. It's tough to tell if what is remaining is significant enough to make any appreciable difference in the stock price.

But then, your guess is probably as good as mine.
