Hello Badshah Sahib,
Yes, Saville is growing a lot.
Our company is made up of three areas:
Saville originally started with the development of billing software for the AS/400 - we still do that, and that part of the company is very active.
We are currently working on something called CBP Open (CBP = Convergent Billing Platform). I don't know much about this.
The area that I work in is GBP (Global Billing Platform). This product is part of the AT&T GTP (Global Technology Platform). My official title there is a consultant, although I have worked as a developer, team leader, filled in for our project manager and have performed other related duties.
Currently I am a release leader, that is when our clients request certain features this information is provided to AT&T. AT&T and Saville work towards producing the design for the new implementation.
My current responsibilities is to ensure that this work - and everything that goes with it (scheduling of resources, client communication etc.) takes place and that our schedules are met and we deliver the product.
The main reason for rapid growth is because of the deregulation in the communications industry. In January 1998, the European market opens up. Saville is poised for fantastic growth (as can be seen by our stock price).
There are many competitors to Saville - LHS Group is one, Kenan is another. But look at their financial statements and position. Saville has a very large cash/marketable securities balance. We have no external debt hence no hefty interest payments. Our VPs are some of the best in the business and they have a vision and the drive to keep Saville on the top. During the last Billing World conference in Washington, our project manager said that there was a lot of interest in Saville and our products.
Although I am not privy to the management or executive conversation, I see Saville hiring people and constantly looking for people. I can only see good things happening for Saville, now and into the future.
FYI: I am posting another two new news releases.
Regards,
Mohammed |
