Hi, Steve. Great to hear from you.:-):-) I first your post this morning as BJ, Garth and I just returned from a trip to Tumbler Ridge, a northern mining community that has emerged from dormancy. We are invested and investing directly in income properties. Yes, as with you, our children and grandchildren, all living within 45 km from our home, provide a great deal of satisfaction and enjoyment. Comments from the field, although anecdotal, do carry a lot of a lot of credibility with me. They are not tainted by vested interests. I would not be surprised to see Pyng out of the market. My involvement with management, excluding Judy and David, leads me to question what confidence emergency medical service providers would have in the company. BJ and I now hold only a small position in the event that the company does come to life. Best regards, Ed P.S. You may remember my question to you a few years ago where I asked about a possible natural gas play to invest in. If I recall correctly, you suggested Chesapeake Energy which was a relatively small company. Nice call!! Too bad I didn't buy it then. :-( However, we have been invested heavily in the energy sector for the past five years and have taken considerable profit. :-) |
