rrufff,
Tarver has had stamina problems in many of his recent fights. Buddy McGirt is always begging Tarver to do this and that during late portions of a fight while Tarver is off balance and sucking wind late in fights. Besides the lottery ticket KO of Roy Jones Jr., Tarver's last KO was in 2002. Tarver's KO power is very overrated.

Hopkins, at least against Jermain Taylor, took too long to get started and I feel that would be a big mistake against Tarver. Hopkins has got to plant seeds early in the fight by making Tarver work and getting his respect. If Hopkins starts working by the third round instead of the sixth or seventh like he did against Taylor, he can take Tarver out late. Taylor was a 27 year old with fresh legs and Hopkins was the fresher of the two down the stretch of both their fights.
