I've been looking more at the retail/consumer side of a housing bust: companies like Home Depot, Lowes and Bed Bath and Beyond (for the feminine side of the bust). It's easier to connect the dots on the retail side. Seems like a lot more homework is required on the supplier side - the side that you are focusing on. You have to track things back up the supply chain.

Building Materials Holding (BMHC), which supplies the home builders, is really getting whacked. Maybe one has to see who they buy materials from. Is lumber already taking a hit?

The real trick is finding the highest risk to reward. Maybe index puts are the cheapest way to go.

Hope you had some kind of position on Manitowoc.
