And I think I finally figured out intel's strategy. They are going to shift the demand and purchases of Intel chips toward q3 at the expense of q2. Even if AMD would increase the unit shipments in q3 Intel hopes that borrowed sales from q2 would be enough to offset AMD's gains in q3 so intel can claim market share increase and victory and bonuses for intel management.

So AMD's announcement to slash venice core pricing yesterday may pull those sales back into Q2. July is shaping up to be a very interesting month in the AMD vs INTC saga.
