Municipal revenues: How come nobody is talking about this? Local tax revenues should have mushroomed over the last few years with property tax assessments going up. Where is all this money going? And what happens if it dries up? Or what happens if it doesn't keep increasing at the same rate?

I know that one place these tax revenues are going is into infrastructure. The civil engineering business is booming. Everyone in my office is swamped - and we can't seem to hire new people because the job market is too hot. My company even got a Cramer booyah a few weeks ago.
