Phillip's Publishing is nothing more than a modern day version on the Pied Piper...Then we have CNBC...Financial Burlesque without the cane...unless someone has a contrarian view...then the cane appears...nothing like having a free audience to talk your own book...I remember my ole professor in marketing class telling us all that we too would succumb to its (marketing) charms because its bigger than all of us...and our brain needs rest and marketing doesn't....that's why I have the sound off CNBC 90% of the time....and sometimes don't even have it on.... And then we have stock boards.... "Can we all get a big group hug?"(on our long positions?)...lol Ever go on a stock board and ACT like you know what the hell you're talking about with a cursory of background research on the stock and see how many people graviate to you because you bolster their own position? It's amazing...people want to feel safe in numbers...like a huddled group in a haunted house...try it sometime... Oh shit! Wait a minute...is that why I always liked Ian Anderson's flute in Jethro Tull??????????
