It's always the same with Specter. He makes some statement or other that sounds forthright and as if he (for a change) is actually doing his job. Then the Administration leans on him and he puts his tail between his legs, slinks away and toes the Party Line. The Administration must have something on him and they must pull out that card and wave it at it him. Perhaps it is the lying, deceitful role he played in the Warren Commission, which stonewalled any serious investigation and whitewashed the whole subject of JFK's assasination. It was the 9/11 Commission of its day. Namaste! Jim
